I’m Dr Giavanni Washington, and I am your Black Goddess Guide for this Goddess Activation. Early in my spiritual journey, I excitedly ordered an Afro-Cuban Orisha Tarot deck. When it arrived, I was appalled and disgusted to find that the Afro-Cuban Goddess, Oshun, was portrayed with glowing white skin.
This was the last straw for me…
We are always confronted with the violent and oppressive historical truths of this country – genocide, slavery, Jim Crow, lynching, mass incarceration, hundreds of unarmed Black people murdered by police. And the violence of erasure has even seeped into the domain of sacred and the spiritual.
There are so many tarot and oracle decks that teach about other cultures, but there are so few that teach Black women about theirs….

Weekly Goddess Tranings

- The video will be released on Monday mornings.
- You will receive a link to the video training that you can watch at your convenience.

Weekly prompts to kindle your Goddess wisdom
- Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of each week, you will receive a brief email with your Goddess Prompt for the day.
- The idea is to hold the question instead of answering the question. Let the prompt work in your being and in your body.
- Observe how holding the query impacts your everyday activities.

Is this program for Black Womxn only?
No! Creatrix, and the upcoming Goddess Activations, is for anyone who values the ancestral wisdom of the Goddesses from Africa. However, in an effort to avoid intentional and unintentional harm, we have created affinity-based Goddess Councils. Participants that identify as Black are invited to attend one weekly Goddess Council and everyone else is invited to attend the Goddess Council for Allies. If I can't make the calls can I still participate?
Yes! The purpose of this Goddess Activation is for you to experience the benefit of exploring and igniting Creatrix energy in your life. It is NOT designed to create more things for your checklist.
Watch (or listen to) the training when you can take in the information. Watch (or listen) multiple times, if you so desire. The trainings are short and created for maximum impact in our busy world. You will be introduced to a new Goddess each week and have the entire week to bathe in her wisdom!
The weekly Goddess Council is optional but, of course, we do find that your experience and integration of the material is deeper if you are able to attend live, share your experiences and interact with the other participants.
Once I sign up how do I get started?
Once you register, you can expect to receive, in advance of the first session, a dwelcome email orienting you to the program, including access instructions for the Goddess Council. If you find during the Activation that you require more support you may upgrade to a private Divination or Coaching session.
